calendar Appointments with Doctor

Call between 8.00am - 6.00pm

If you wish to see a doctor, then please make an appointment - patients are seen by appointment only.

You can make an appointment either by telephoning the surgery - 01592 713299 - or in person.

We offer the following types of appointments with the doctor:

On-the Day Appointments

Many patients have told us that they want to be seen on the day they phone the surgery.  So now, most of our appointments are opened on-the-day first thing in the morning.  If you phone early, you will be offered an appointment on a "first come, first served" basis.  We will try to offer you an appointment with a doctor of your choice.

Emergency Appointments

If there are no on-the-day appointments left when you call and you feel that you have an urgent condition that cannot wait until the next day, then you may be offered an emergency appointment.  Please note that you may not be seen by the doctor of your choice.

Pre-Bookable Appointments

If you want to book an appointment for a date in the future, we have some appointments available for this, up to 4 - 6 weeks in advance.  Please note that you may need to wait a little longer for a doctor of your choice.

Telephone Appointments

If you think your query can be dealt with over the phone, we can arrange for a doctor to call you at the end of morning surgery (between 11am - 12pm).

Our Nurse Practitioner

Please remember that our Nurse Practitioner (Jacki) is very well trained and is able to treat minor illnesses and give advice.  She may be able to help you if you are unable to get an appointment with the doctor on the day you want.
